Welcome to OurBloomington.org, a informational website and on-line forum by the people, for the people.  Our mission is to provide you with accurate information, actions you can take, and a forum to join in the discussion concerning our neighborhood.  We are the people of southwest Bloomington who want Target Corporation to STOP TARGETING OUR INTERSECTION on Old Shakopee Road and Normandale Boulevard.  Thank you for your support.  Together, we can accomplish our goal!

Mission Accomplished!

At the October 27, 2008 City Council meeting the Target application was not formally denied by council members - the applicant (Target) withdrew the application before a vote was taken.

If Target had not withdrew it's application the City Council would have unanimously (7-0) voted the proposal down. Thanks to everyone for their hard efforts into accomplishing our goal. Please look to this web site and future developments. THANKS EVERYONE!
